Submitted by Orvis Fly Fishing on Wed, 2018-05-23 06:10 View on Orvis.com Tip of the week Techniques There is NO safe wade fishing now as flows are over 10K. (Extremely few places to "shore" fish or step in knee deep.) Best technique now is fishing from a boat (Drift Boat, Raft, Kick Boat). We've been catching most fish on deep nymph rigs (7'-10' bobber to bugs) and streamer fishing (stripping slow). Some dries late in the day.
